Kate Schellie received her Masters Degree in Child Development from the Eliot Pearson Department of Child Development at Tufts University. Currently, in addition to teaching in the classroom, Kate serves as as the Henry Frost Children's Program Research Practice Integration Specialist, as well as an Educational Specialist for Ponte & Chau Consulting, Inc. While completing her Masters Degree, she taught at the Eliot-Pearson Children's School in the Kindergarten classroom, the First and Second Grade classroom, as well as the mixed-age Extended Day classroom. She was also a research assistant on the Natural Playground Project, where she was responsible for overseeing data collection, analysis, and dissemination. In addition, Kate has had international teaching experience in Denmark and India.
